From the moment I met Kate and Zach for their engagement session on Cape Cod, I knew their wedding day was going to be an experience of a lifetime. These two have a love so strong, and boy do they know how to throw a party.
Their wedding took place at Grand Palladium Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. This resort had breathtaking views of turquoise waters, palm trees and vibrant plants.
The wedding morning started with private vows before these two got ready for the big day ahead. They wanted to share this calm and intentional moment together to ease some pre-ceremony nerves. The bride and her party got ready in their swim up suite, with a beautiful backdrop of neon palm trees and all around good vibes. The groom and his party got ready in a nearby suite, surrounded with laughs and all his favorite people.
The ceremony took place right on the beach, toes in the sand. The bright blue ocean as their backdrop, made for a breathtaking site to see. One moment that stuck out to me was Kate and Zach’s recessional down the aisle. The genuine happiness and celebration that came with it was something truly beautiful.
We headed down closer to the water for their portraits. At this point, Kate and Zach are complete naturals in front of the camera. Not because they do it often, but instead because they embrace one another and light each other up when they are together; making the portraits seamless.
From their grand entrance to Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppard, emotional tear-jerking speeches and to tearing it up on the dance floor – this wedding day was in fact nothing short of a moment of a lifetime.
