But it was not until I started losing things that I understood what photographs were really for.
Growing up, many of my childhood photos were lost. And that absence has stayed with me in a way that is hard to put into words. There is a particular kind of grief in reaching for a memory and not being able to find it. In knowing that a moment happened but having nothing to return to.
When my nana passed away a few years ago, I sat with her photo albums for a long time. She had always loved photographs. She kept them carefully. She looked at them often. She understood something about the relationship between images and memory that I was only beginning to learn.
A photograph is not just a picture. It is a moment you can come back to. It is the feeling of a day, preserved and handed back to you. It is proof that something beautiful happened, and that the people you loved were right there in it with you.
I picked up a camera in high school the way you pick up most things that end up mattering to you: a little accidentally, and with absolutely no idea where it was going to lead.

In 2025 I took my very first ever flight straight to Punta Cana to photograph a destination wedding. I am now completely and entirely hooked on travelling for love stories.

My cat Poe is my son, my coworker, and my most honest critic. If you also have a pet you are completely feral about, we are going to get along just fine.

I am powered almost entirely by iced coffee. Dunkin or Marylou's, always cold, always large. This is a core personality trait and I will not be taking questions.

I have been to over 30 concerts and I see absolutely no end in sight. Sabrina Carpenter, Morgan Wallen, Tate McRae. I probably already know every word to your first dance song.

There is something about the way two people show up for each other on a wedding day that I find endlessly moving. The way someone's whole face changes when they see their partner walking towards them. The particular energy of a room full of people who all love the same two people. The moment everything slows down, just for a second, and you can feel how much this all means.
I am drawn to love stories because they are the most honest thing I know how to document. They are not performed. They are not manufactured. When two people are genuinely, deeply in love and surrounded by the people who matter most to them, something real happens in that room, and getting to be the person who captures it is a privilege I do not take lightly.
My values as a photographer are rooted in that. Authenticity over perfection. Connection over performance. Presence over production. I want every couple I work with to walk away feeling like their photographs are a true reflection of who they are and how their day actually felt, not a polished version of it. Images they’ll want to look back on again, and again, and again.
I could photograph a lot of things. But I keep coming back to love.
Why I Choose Love Stories
I grew up on Cape Cod, which means salt air, coastal light, and the particular warmth of a New England summer are genuinely in my bones. These days I am based in the greater Boston area, which puts me right in the heart of some of the most beautiful wedding venues, historic towns, and stunning coastline that New England has to offer.
I love to photograph weddings and sessions throughout New England, with a deep love for Cape Cod, the South Shore, Boston, and everywhere in between. And if your wedding takes you further than that, well, I am absolutely here for it. I am available for travel throughout New England and beyond, and I am always genuinely excited when a love story takes me somewhere new.
