On a December day while snow covered the venue and flurries were coming down – these two tied the knot! Amanda and John spent the entire day embracing one another and celebrating with their family and friends. This beautiful couple had a stunning Boston winter wedding at the Colonial Hotel in Gardner, MA.
Amanda and John met in college, and the rest is history! The sense of humor they both share complements each other so well. I first photographed them earlier that year for their engagement session, and got to learn a lot about them personally as a couple and what they prefer in portraits.
They both got ready in separate suites at the venue (another perk of the Colonial Hotel). Amanda and Johns’ energy remained calm and relaxed the entirety of the day, but particularly in the morning leading up to the first look. Amanda’s beautiful Penny Jane Bridal dress was the perfect blend of winter elegance. We endured the frigid weather to take all the formal portraits ahead of the ceremony. Of course you know we had to get some epic portraits on the main hotel staircase!
From start to finish, you could feel the love these two share for each other and how they were truly surrounded by friends and family who care so deeply, and who know how to party!
